The dance calendar for your city.
The idea
Dance or Die is a simple calendar for social dance in your city. Browse what is on, save nights you care about, and see regular socials months ahead - without digging through scattered posts and group chats.
For dancers
- Explore by city, dance style, and time range. The calendar shows which days have events.
- Save events to your list and come back to them anytime.
- Install on your phone - add Dance or Die to your home screen and open it like any other app. No app store needed.
Install on your phone
Dance or Die works in the browser, but you can add it to your home screen like a regular app. No app store needed - just one tap from here and you skip opening Safari or Chrome every time you check the calendar.
On iPhone, use Safari's Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. On Android, look for Install app in your browser menu.
For promoters
Registration is free. Posting is free. Create an account, add your event, and publish it to the catalog.
Every promoter posts from an account with a confirmed email address. That keeps the catalog real and every listing tied to the people who run it.
Socials are what we have tested most. Listings support cover images, descriptions, venue details, and dance styles.

Repeating events
Weekly party? Class every two weeks? Monthly social? Set up one repeating series instead of creating the same night over and over. You can schedule up to about a year ahead (365 days).
That builds future dates in the calendar so dancers can see it is a regular night, check what is on in specific months, and plan ahead.
When a date gets closer, update the cover and description for that night - fresh DJ, theme, or lineup - the same way you would promote what is happening this week.
Schools and teachers
You can already choose School or Teacher when posting, but those sections are not fully built out yet. Socials are the main focus for now.
If you run a school or teach and need specific fields or flows, get in touch. When enough people ask for the same thing, we will build it.

We do not promise these today, but they can be added if the community wants them:
